We are pleased to present the official poster for the 15th edition of the Tamadaba Trail by Rungosay, an image that represents much more than just a sporting event.
Under the slogan ‘Water gives us life’, this year’s event aims to pay tribute to the inestimable value of water as a source of life, biodiversity and the future for Gran Canaria.
The choice of this slogan stems from a reflection on the aftermath of storm Therese in the Canary Islands, an event which highlighted, once again, the power of nature and the importance of protecting our water resources and our natural areas.
Water can transform the landscape, shape our mountains and ravines, and, at the same time, remind us of the need to coexist with it in a spirit of respect and sustainability.
The poster shows two runners taking in the stunning surroundings of the Tamadaba Rural Park and the Agaete Valley, a setting where water has played a central role for centuries, shaping one of the most spectacular landscapes on the islands.
The image invites us to enjoy nature, but also to reflect on its fragility and on the responsibility we all share for its conservation.
The 15th Tamadaba Trail by Rungosay, to be held on 28 November 2026 in Agaete (Gran Canaria), will be a special edition in which sport, nature and environmental awareness will once again go hand in hand.
Because running through Tamadaba is about much more than just clocking up kilometres: it’s about discovering, respecting and protecting a unique environment.
