HOW TO GET THERE
GETTING TO THE AGAETE VALLEY

The fishing village of Agaete is located in the north-west of Gran Canaria, just 30 kilometres from the island’s capital, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Of all the municipalities that stretch along the northern coast of Gran Canaria, Agaete is the westernmost, where the semicircle that forms the island begins to turn westward. Its northern and eastern borders are with the municipality of Gáldar, while to the south and west it borders the mountain municipality of Artenara.
There are two ways to access this municipality:
- From Las Palmas de Gran Canaria via the GC-2 road.
- From the La Aldea de San Nicolás or the southern part of the island, follow the GC-200 road along the west coast.
Both routes can be reached by car or by regular bus services.
